Course focuses on health practices and cultural beliefs in diverse socio cultural communities. Understanding of concepts and principles to increase awareness of dimensions and complexities of various cultural beliefs, issues, and traditions will be discussed. Health care related to cultural practices, concepts, and principles will be explored. Heritage assessment tools, exercises, and scenarios will be used to enhance knowledge, appreciation and awareness of cultural richness in communities/groups.
