Focuses on calculations utilized for the safe administration of medications and intravenous solutions. Basic mathematical operations will be reviewed as they relate to dosage calculations. The course will progress from simple dosage calculations to complex calculations such as units/hour, milligrams/hour, and micrograms/kilogram/hour. Calculations of dosages for all age groups will be included. Open to all students. (Offered on sufficient demand)
