This course introduces the application of new technology and methodologies in operations function such as supply chain design, planning, and operation of the firm from a strategic point of view. It considers methods for improving the effectiveness of a firm by making appropriate structural decisions for operations, creating internal linkages between different business functions, and external linkages across company boundaries.
