This course analyzes the concept of leadership and its significance in shaping the future success of our culturally diverse organizations. It examines various leadership theories, styles, and behaviors with the context of an ever changing, high competitive business environment. It focuses on the leadership required to move organizations beyond their bureaucratic and familiar managerial routine and become more adaptive and responsive. This course is designed to assist students develop effective leadership skills to inspire and motivate followers in an increasingly interdependent, team oriented, and culturally diverse organizational climate.
