Addresses structural issues related to sexualized entertainment, including pornography, sex work, escort services, sex tourism, erotic dancing, and strip shows. Discusses how gender, race, class, citizenship, and sexuality shape the stratification of the industry. Analyzes how issues such as HIV/AIDS, traffic in women, forced prostitution, and child prostitution impact the sex trade and people working in this industry. Fulfills the Social Sciences requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
