Discusses political and economic processes and sociocultural dynamics, population control, sex preference, infanticide and neonatal neglect, adoption and foster parenting, abortion, technologically assisted conception, and gestational surrogacy. Cross-listed with ANTH 147. Fulfills the Social Sciences requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
