Focuses on "text" as a way to frame one'position, listen to women's voices, and explore lesbian experiences. By discussing critical theory and commentaries, autobiography, performance, and visual and popular culture, students examine the cultural, political, and performance potential of lesbian subjectivity. Fulfills the Humanities requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
