Looks at Asian American autobiographies and films written and directed by women. Explores why the genre of autobiography is enabling and contentious within Asian American women's writings. Examines films to see how such women filmmakers contend with memory, gender, and identity. Fulfills the Humanities requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences.
