A survey of the ancient mystical and philosophical aspects of Taoism as well as the living religious tradition, their relationships to each other, and their expression in Chinese culture and civilization. Topics include the Tao Te Ching, the Chuang-tzu, the Taoist Canon, meditation, immortality, alchemy, and ritual. Cross-listed with AST 107 and CHN 107.
