Internship, 4-16 hours; consultation, 1 hour; written work, 1-4 hours; individual study, 0-4 hours. Prerequisite(s): PSYC 001, PSYC 002, PSYC 011, and PSYC 012 with grades of "C-" or better; upper-divisionstanding; consent of instructor. Individual internship in nonclinical psychology fieldwork. The student spends three hours per week in a prescribed combination of academic activities and internship for each unit of credit. Students keep a weekly log and write a summary of the internship experience. Students who complete additional assigned reading and submit a substantive term paper receive a letter grade; other students receive a Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) grade. Course is repeatable to a maximum of 16 units.
