Lecture, 3 hours; extra reading or term paper, 3 hours. Prerequisite(s): a grade of "C-" or better in the followingcourses or consent of instructor: PSYC 001, PSYC 002, PSYC 011, PSYC 012, PSYC 140. Intensive study of selected topics in social psychology such as race relations, attitude formation and change, biases of social science researchers, and the application of psychological principles in community organization. Emphasis is on the study of these areas in natural settings. Specific course content varies. Course is repeatable to a maximum of 16 units.
