Prerequisite(s): PSYC 001, PSYC 002, PSYC 011 with grades of "C-" or better; ENGL001C or equivalent with a grade of "C" or better; consentof instructor is required for students repeating the course; enrollment priority is given to Psychology majors. A systematic survey of research methodologies in psychology. Laboratory assignments include evaluating and testing psychological theories, assessing methodologies and research designs, designing and implementing research, collecting data and analyzing statistics, writing research reports, and discussing ethical issues in science.
