Prerequisite(s): CBNS 106 with a grade of "C-" or better or PSYC 110with a grade of "C-" or better or consent of instructor.Studies how the nervous systems of vertebrates and invertebrates contribute to and control their behavior. Focuses on aspects of sensory physiology with a brief orientation to the structure and function of nervous systems. Emphasizes a top-down approach to neurobiology, with specific behaviors providing guidelines for an examination of neural mechanisms.
