Analyzes the role of money in federal elections and in the formulation of public policy. Examines the contemporary role of parties in raising and spending campaign money, the explosion of "soft money" in congressional and presidential elections, and the effect of campaign spending on electoral outcomes. Explores how campaign contributions influence public policy.
