Maxwell's equations; propagation of electromagnetic waves in wave guides, coaxial lines, and optical fibers; reflection, refraction, and diffraction of waves; dispersion of waves in gases and plasmas; interference and coherence and their role in holography; electromagnetic radiation from charged particles, antennas, masers, and lasers; relativistic electrodynamics.
