Covers topics in classical mechanics, including Newton's laws of motion in one and two dimensions; work, energy, and conservation of energy; momentum and collisions; rotational motion; and orbital motion. For biological sciences students. Credit is awarded for only one of PHYS 002A or PHYS 040A.
