Lecture, 3 hours. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 002 or both BIOL 005A and BIOL 05LA; both CHEM 001C and CHEM 01LC or both CHEM 01HC and CHEM 1HLC. Examination of soil biota and their relationships with plants and the soil environment. Emphasis is on soil biotic interactions that influence soil fertility, plant disease, and plant growth.
