Studio, 2-4 hours. Prerequisite(s): upper-division standing or consent of instructor. Offers students practical performance experience in an ensemble as well as a background in different genres of gospel music ranging from the early 1900s to the present day. Normally graded Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC), but students may petition the instructor for a letter grade on the basis of assigned extra work or examination. Course is repeatable.
