ETST 001 will introduce students to major concepts and controversial issues in the study of race and ethnicity and shall provide a general overview of topics to be covered in more specialized Ethnic Studies courses. Credit is awarded for only one of ETST 001 or ETST 001H. Fulfills either the Humanities or Social Sciences requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences, but not both.
