An introduction to environmental science, focusing on natural resource description, management, and conservation. Topics covered include ecosystem characteristics and function; material and energy flows; population dynamics and influence of population on the environment; energy resources and conservation; and mineral and soil resources and their management. Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) grading is not available. Credit is awarded for only one of ENSC 001 or ENSC 001H.
