Describes the dynamics of African society. Examines the Black diaspora's interaction with and influence upon the political and historical developments on the continent of Africa. Evaluates, when relevant, the impact of the non- African upon the African. Fulfills either the Humanities or Social Sciences requirement for the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences, but not both.
