Studies the economic system from both the micro, or individual decisionmaker's perspective, and macro, or aggregate perspective. Includes analysis of competition, monopoly, distribution of income, unemployment, inflation, and the impact of government policies on economic activity. Credit is awarded for only one of ECON 002, ECON 002H, or ECON 004 and for only one of ECON 003 or ECON 004.
