Internship, 3-12 hours. Prerequisite(s): upper-division standing; at least 12 units in Computer Science courses. An academic internship to provide the student with career experience as a computer scientist in a governmental, industrial, or research unit under the joint supervision of an off-campus sponsor and a faculty member in Computer Science. Each individual program must have the prior approval of both supervisors and the Department chair. A final written report is required. Course is repeatable to a maximum of 8 units.
