Prerequisite(s): VNM 020A with a grade of "C-" or better or equivalent or a sufficiently high test score on the Vietnamese placement examination as determined by the department faculty or consent of instructor. Builds upon course work covered in VNM 020A. Includes integrating situational lessons with vocabulary, sentence patterns, grammar, and socio-linguistics used in daily life. Credit is awarded for only one of the following sequences: VNM 001, VNM 002, and VNM 003; VNM 020A and VNM 020B.
