Lecture, 4 hours. Prerequisite(s): VNM 003 or VNM 020B with a grade of "C-" or better or equivalent or a sufficiently high test score on the Vietnamese placement examination as determined by the department faculty or consent of instructor. Emphasis is on further development of vocabulary, reading, writing, comprehension, and speaking skills. Students begin to recognize, formulate, and articulate complex ideas.
