Explores how Vietnamese people and the Vietnamese diaspora seek to imagine a sense of community in the postwar era through contemporary film and video. Examines the thematics of return, longing, and exile. Reviews some of the texts' bold expressions of gender, sexuality, and identity. Crosslisted with FVC 167.
