Prerequisite(s): senior standing in Art; 32 units of upper-division studio art courses; review of preliminary portfolio two quarters before intended enrollment. Independent work and group seminars; completion of thesis statement and presentation of a finished body of work to faculty thesis committee. Satisfactory (S) or No Credit (NC) grading is not available. Credit is awarded for only one of ART 185 or ART 195.
