GARED XXXX Thesis Project/Online Thesis Work 3 credits Students identify A specific research question, conduct preliminary research and synthesize it in A literature review, create A research plan with specific dates, implement an action research project in their professional community, and create A multimedia/multi-art documentation of their work to be shared with colleagues, parents, administrators, and the public in general. There are two thesis courses for A total of six units. The first thesis weekend occurs after the first three classes and gives the student an opportunity to focus his/her work on A specific theme, formulate an adequate research question, and start background investigation. The online thesis work gives students the opportunity to conduct their research with the close supervision of A faculty member. During the last weekend of thesis, at the very end of their program, students will present A first draft of their work to their peers and receive feedback to be integrated in the final draft of their project.
