Required of all majors. Application of previous theoretical and applied knowledge and skills in an appropriate recreation/leisure setting. The internship is intended to simulate a full-time (40 hours/week) professional level work experience during the entire semester. Therapeutic Recreation Internship must meet NCTRC national guidelines. Grading Restriction: Satisfactory/No Credit grading only. (RE) Prerequisite(s): 290 and 390. Registration Restriction(s): Recreation and leisure studies major; 2.50 GPA; minimum student level - senior.
