We investigate the historical antecedents of the Holocaust within Christianity, Europe, and Germany and reflect systematically on the nature of Christianity and its relation to anti-Jewish sentiment and behavior, and consider the human being as a creature capable of these behaviors and a Deity who permits such behaviors.
