3 credit hours This course is required for all first year students admitted to the college via the interview process. The course is designed to help students be successful in all of their classes, introduce and utilize campus support services and thoroughly examine effective study skills. The course will review reading strategies, effective writing, test taking, note taking, vocabulary words and other skills needed to meet college coursework expectations. A special emphasis will be placed on time management. This course counts as elective credit hours.
