3 credit hours A studio aesthetic participation course emphasizing painting as a creative artistic endeavor of self-expression using transparent watercolor paints on paper stock. The projects include landscape, natural and commercial subjects done with creativity, originality and technical skill. The knowledge, understanding and appreciation of art in a variety of contemporary and past cultural contexts is integrated through lecture, demonstration and discussion.
