A historical and theoretical survey of film and video media which examines memorable productions from the beginning of Hollywood films to the latest exemplary contemporary movies and video productions. This course is designed to engender an understanding and appreciation of the many creative aspects of the electronic media, as well as recognition of their importance as both reflector and molders of society.
