This course is designed to assist participants in the development of a knowledge base and understanding of the major philosophical and organizational aspects of education at the middle level. Diversity is explored as a source of enrichment and challenge for middle schools and the communities they serve. This course will also provide students with the opportunity to apply this knowledge and understanding to middle level programs. Students taking this course for graduate credit must complete all graduate course requirements. Prerequisites: EDUC 213 and EDUC 303. Three Hours, Fall
