Technology, methods, principles, practices, contents, and materials related to the development and assessment of effective literacy (reading) skills and behaviors are the focus of this course. Application will be made to state and national standards. Students will become competent in applying assessment strategies for the improvement of student learning. A study of state mandated assessment is included. This course must be taken before student teaching. Students taking this course for graduate credit must complete all graduate course requirements. Prerequisites: EDUC 213, EDUC 303, and all subject methodology courses. Three Hours, Fall, Spring, Summer
