In this course students examine current issues in financial accounting and reporting. Issues are examined within the framework of generally accepted accounting principles for valuation, presentation and disclosure of items in financial statements. The course emphasizes the application of the pronouncements of the Financial Accounting Standards Board and the AICPA accounting research bulletins. Prerequisite: Accounting 323.
