This course is a prerequisite to the Information Security Track (INFOSEC) if the student has not taken COS 302, 410, and 470. This is designed for those who are interested in the Information Security field but do not have necessary background in computer science. It provides the needed background for the Information Security Track for non- Computer Science students/professionals who seek to gain expertise in the field of Information Security. The course builds the foundation in discrete mathematics, operating systems, data structures, networking, and principles of programming languages.
