This course is the third in a series of social work practice courses. It will examine the types of human service organizations within the community and examine the political and social context in which community organizing takes place in contemporary society. As an interventions course, it will continue to focus on the stages and processes utilized in generalist social work practice through a problem solving approach. Social work majors only.
