NEUROSCIENCE 488 - Nursing Internship

Description:
This internship, supervised by the Department of Nursing, is done in cooperation with a health care agency. Students will select an area of clinical interest to apply previously acquired knowledge and to develop competencies and skills necessary for the beginning roles of the professional nurse. This course will be composed of practicum experience for a seven-week period. The student will have approximately 24 hours per week of clinical experience while being mentored by a professional nurse. Students may have the option to have their nursing internship as a part of The Philadelphia Center or the Chicago Semester program. Prerequisite: Nursing 480.
