This course offers a survey of key issues arising at the intersection of religion and politics. The first part of the course will survey the variety of Christian responses to engaging the political order, with special attention paid to the American context. The second part of the course will examine the interplay between Christianity and policy alternatives, paying close attention to the behavior of political and social groups. Finally, the course will examine the increase of religious pluralism and its effect on American politics and jurisprudence. Four Credits Polet, Ryden Every Other Year
