This course provides an opportunity to apply concepts of evidence-based and population-based community health care. An emphasis is placed on improving health of a community with a priority on health promotion, disease prevention, and health protection. This course is a combination of theory and practicum experiences. Theory, two hours per week; practicum, twelve hours per week for a half semester. Prerequisites include Nursing 210, 222, 242, 255, 260, 305, 310 and 335, and PSY 230. Prerequisites or corequisites include Nursing 315. Three Credits Chaponniere Both Semesters
