A continuation of Music 113, adding dictation in several parts. Prerequisite: C average or better in Music 113. Completion of Music 112 or concurrent enrollment required. One Credit Wolfe Spring Semester Placement in the appropriate level of Keyboard Skills is by audition and advisement at the beginning of each semester. Students pursuing majors within the Bachelor of Music degree must successfully pass the appropriate piano proficiency exam. Enrollment in Keyboard Skills or Music 179 is required each semester until the exam is passed. After the exam is passed, remaining Keyboard Skills courses required for the degree may be waived by petition to the chairperson of the Department of Music.
