This course provides prospective school health educators with an understanding of the nature, scope, function, and integration of health instruction and other coordinated school health program components. It allows candidates to develop competencies in assessing needs, planning instruction, and evaluating health programs in schools, as well as develop specific skills related to using technology and advocating for school health programs.
