This course provides students with the opportunity to develop competence in a variety of introductory athletic training skills. Specific skills to be developed include, but are not limited to, athletic training room procedures, cryotherapy application, first aid procedures, therapeutic modality operation and application, and upper and lower extremity taping, wrapping, and bracing. Clinical experiences are obtained in the college's sports medicine facilities and will be accompanied by a one-hour seminar each week. Prerequisite: admittance into the athletic training major. One Credit Staff Both Semesters
