This course develops decision-making skills in the context of managing the marketing function in all types of organizations. Simulations and case studies describing actual marketing problems provide an opportunity for the student to develop an appreciation for the types of problems which exist in the real world of marketing; and to develop the skills of analysis and decisionmaking necessary for success in marketing and other areas of organizations. Topics include marketing opportunity analysis, market segmentation, product policy, promotion, channels of distribution, pricing policy, and the analysis of complete marketing programs.
