This course provides an opportunity for communication majors to develop media skills by producing a media project under the supervision of a faculty member. Credit for this course is elective and may not be applied to fulfill the requirements of the major. Students are expected to maintain approximately 4 hours of project work per week for each credit granted. Prerequisites: Communication 255 and 356 or Communication 251 and 352, junior standing, submission of departmental Independent Media Project Application, approval of instructor, and final approval of media project proposal by department.
