A period survey of the art and architecture of the European, Mediterranean, and Mid-Eastern Middle Ages from the rule of Constantine to the 13th century in Italy, including Islamic, Byzantine, Carolingian, Ottonian, Romanesque, and Gothic visual culture. Emphasis will be placed upon the link between artistic forms and political and religious thought. Four Credits Heath Every Other Year
