Includes engineering graphics review, weld joint types and welding symbols, an introduction to estimating welding costs, production considerations needed in designing and fabricating weldments, the use of tolerance dimensioning, geometric tolerancing, mechanical and section properties of materials, an introduction to load and stress analysis and code requirement for welding.
