Interviewing, including clarification, interpretation, confrontation, feedback, selfdisclosure, immediacy, use of humor, systematic problem solving, and techniques utilized in various counseling theories. In-depth exploration of social work interviewing stages introduced in SCWK 130. Simulated and actual interviewing situations evaluated through the use of direct peer and instructor observation, as well as audio tape, video tape, and process recording.
