This course provides knowledge of ingredients, equipment and methods used to create uncured synthetic rubber of consistent quality. This includes: evaluation of ingredient quantities for a batch of rubber, mixing techniques for optimum consistency and heat history and putting the rubber into a form that can be utilized for various types of part fabrication. Methods for evaluation of the mixed material are explored. Pre- Requisites: RUBR 110. Typically Offered Spring Only
